C4-1 Sustainable energies

Fluid Mechanics and Energy, Energetics

Year (Module) : 3A (C)
Lecturer :Jérôme DE DINECHIN, Olivier ROUSSEL, Pierre BIVAS, Olivier PEROT, Joaquim NASSAR, Benjamin GALLEZOT, Christophe COGNARD, louis BOISGIBAULT, Ghislain BEHAGHEL

Objectives

This course addresses to future engineers with an original and pragmatic vision of the current energy stakes (panorama, sustainable development, carbon credits, scenarios, lobbies, public policies ...), and alternative technical energy solutions.
It aims at giving them the methodological and technological tools which will enable them to envisage/understand the principal sources of renewables, to identify how and in which sectors they will be most suitable.
The speakers all are actors of the energy world: TOTAL, EDF, french Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables, French agency for energy control ADEME, industrialists, laboratories, startups.
Projects are to be realized by students in the field of Renewables. They will be ranked by a jury.
The course wishes to prepare the engineers with the new trades of the energy world which will obviously constitute our next relays of economic growth.
