Objectives

Embedded systems often rely on hardware accelerators for compute intensive functions.

The objectives of this course are twice:

1. master digital circuits modelling using hardware description languages as well as design flows,

2. master reconfigurable digital circuit technology (CPLD/FPGA). These devices are gaining tremendous interest in the design community and are widespread in new designs.

Those two points will allow the design and implementation of circuits with multiple functionnalities on reconfigurable devices.
